Jonathan Foret is the Executive Director of the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center in Houma, LA. Jonathan is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization and implementing the programs of the Wetlands Discovery Center. He has over 10 years of nonprofit administrative, management and fundraising experience on international, national, state, regional and local levels. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus in Nonprofit Leadership and is a native of Chauvin, Louisiana.

Dr. Denise Reed is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in coastal marsh sustainability and the role of human activities in modifying coastal systems with over 30 years of experience studying coastal issues in the United States and abroad. Dr. Reed has served as a Distinguished Research Professor in the University of New Orleans’ Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and spent five years as a Chief Scientist at The Water Institute of the Gulf. She is also featured prominently throughout our documentary, On Our Watch.
